Ayatollah Khamenei\u2019s wife was rarely seen in public.<\/p>\n<p>Iranian officials say that other members of Khamenei\u2019s family were also martyred in the Israeli attack, including a daughter, son-in-law, and a grandson.<\/p>\n<p>Ayatollah Khamenei\u2019s wife, Mansoureh Khojasteh Bagherzadeh, was born in 1947 to a religious and influential family in the religious city of Mashhad, Iran.<\/p>\n<p>Her father was a well-known businessman, while her brother, Hassan Bagherzadeh, was also the deputy head of Iran\u2019s state broadcaster.<\/p>\n<p>Mansoura Khojasta Baqirzada married Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in 1965, and they have four sons and two daughters.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TEHRAN: Ayatollah Ali Khamenei\u2019s wife, Mansoureh Khojasteh Bagherzadeh, 79, also died in hospital while undergoing treatment.
