{"id":102916,"date":"2026-03-03T20:09:54","date_gmt":"2026-03-03T15:09:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=102916"},"modified":"2026-03-03T20:09:54","modified_gmt":"2026-03-03T15:09:54","slug":"paa-issues-clarification-regarding-airspace-closure","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/paa-issues-clarification-regarding-airspace-closure\/","title":{"rendered":"PAA issues clarification regarding airspace closure"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Airports Authority (<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/pakistans-airspace-full-operational-amid-regional-tensions-paa\/\">PAA<\/a>) has clarified the current situation on the false reports of the recent NOTAM and partial closure of Pakistani airspace.<\/p>\n<p>Pakistan Airports Authority has issued a clarification on the rumours regarding the country\u2019s airspace, stating that Pakistan\u2019s airspace is completely safe and available for all types of commercial operations.<\/p>\n<p>A PAA spokesperson said that NOTAM A0134\/26 does not indicate any partial closure but only temporary unavailability of specific routes.<\/p>\n<p>Specific (ATS) routes in Karachi and Lahore Flight Information Regions will be affected from 9 am to 3 pm daily. Alternate airports and routes are available and are being used as usual.<\/p>\n<p>Accordingly, certain parts of specific air traffic services routes within Karachi and Lahore Flight Information Regions will be temporarily unavailable from 900 to 1500 Pakistan Standard Time daily from March 3 to March 31, 2026, due to operational reasons.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Pakistan Airports Authority, there are no restrictions on all commercial flights, arrivals, departures and overflights.
