{"id":103103,"date":"2026-03-05T16:03:02","date_gmt":"2026-03-05T11:03:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=103103"},"modified":"2026-03-05T16:03:02","modified_gmt":"2026-03-05T11:03:02","slug":"zobia-khurshid-rajas-appointment-stayed-by-ajk-high-court","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/zobia-khurshid-rajas-appointment-stayed-by-ajk-high-court\/","title":{"rendered":"Zobia Khurshid Raja\u2019s appointment stayed by AJK High Court"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"219\" data-end=\"419\">MUZAFFARABAD: The\u00a0<span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Azad Jammu and <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/ghulam-mustafa-mughal-appointed-azad-kashmir-cec\/\">Kashmir High Court<\/a><\/span><\/span> has suspended the appointment of Zobia Khurshid Raja as Media Coordinator in the Information Department.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"421\" data-end=\"566\">The court admitted a writ petition filed against her appointment and ordered the suspension of the appointment letter during the initial hearing.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"568\" data-end=\"834\">The petition was filed by young lawyers <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Syed Zulqarnain Naqvi<\/span><\/span> and <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Sardar Mateeb<\/span><\/span>. In the petition, it was argued that after her appointment, Zobia Khurshid Raja was given a position in the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Pakistan Peoples Party<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"836\" data-end=\"1049\">The petitioners claimed that the appointment was made against merit and without fulfilling legal requirements. They further stated that Zobia Khurshid Raja neither appeared in a test nor an interview for the post.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1051\" data-end=\"1248\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">During the preliminary hearing, Justice <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Sardar Ejaz Khan<\/span><\/span> ordered the suspension of the appointment.
