This includes the registration of a police case.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1209\" data-end=\"1424\">A spokesperson for the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/education\/lahore-board-introduces-e-marking-for-class-9-practical-exams\/\">Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education<\/a> Rawalpindi said such actions are punishable under the Punjab University and Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education Malpractices Act, 1950.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1426\" data-end=\"1544\">The spokesperson explained that the law allows punishment of up to three years in prison and a fine of up to Rs50,000.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1546\" data-end=\"1704\">Education officials said the step was taken after repeated concerns about <strong data-start=\"1620\" data-end=\"1664\">paper leaks on social media criminalised<\/strong> incidents during previous examinations.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1706\" data-end=\"1821\">To stop such activities, all students have also been banned from bringing mobile phones inside examination centres.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1823\" data-end=\"1949\">Authorities warned that taking pictures or recording videos of question papers and sharing them online is strictly prohibited.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1951\" data-end=\"2072\">Education boards said the goal of the new measures is to protect the transparency and fairness of the examination system.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2074\" data-end=\"2219\">Students have been advised to follow all exam rules and avoid any action that could violate the <strong data-start=\"2170\" data-end=\"2214\">paper leaks on social media criminalised<\/strong> law.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The issue of paper leaks on social media criminalised has become a major warning for students across Punjab ahead of the upcoming annual examinations.
