He also took notice of the low number of complaints registered in companies such as <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Peshawar Electric Supply Company<\/span><\/span>, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Hazara Electric Supply Company<\/span><\/span>, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Sukkur Electric Power Company<\/span><\/span>, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Hyderabad Electric Supply Company,<\/span><\/span> and <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Quetta Electric Supply Company<\/span><\/span>. These companies have been directed to promote the 118 Smart Call Center among consumers so that more people can benefit from the facility.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1123\" data-end=\"1317\">The minister emphasized that line staff and officers responsible for customer services must ensure that complaints received through the 118 helpline are resolved on a top-priority basis.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"1wcu2f4\" data-start=\"1319\" data-end=\"1359\">Strong performance of the 118 system<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1360\" data-end=\"1507\">The orders were issued following a review of the 118 Smart Call Center, which showed strong performance between October 2025 and February 2026.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1509\" data-end=\"1772\">During this period, more than 2.02 million calls were received on the platform, of which 1.93 million were successfully handled, achieving a 96.09% service delivery rate. Only 1.67% of calls were dropped, highlighting the efficiency of the system.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1774\" data-end=\"1934\">In the same five-month period, a total of 2.45 million electricity complaints were registered nationwide, and 99.49% of them were successfully resolved.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1936\" data-end=\"2431\">Among the distribution companies, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Lahore Electric Supply Company<\/span><\/span> recorded the highest number of complaints, resolving over 1.02 million out of 1.03 million cases. <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Multan Electric Power Company<\/span><\/span> resolved more than 646,000 complaints, while <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Faisalabad Electric Supply Company<\/span><\/span> achieved a 99.66% resolution rate. Other companies, including <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Gujranwala Electric Power Company<\/span><\/span> and <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Islamabad Electric Supply Company,<\/span><\/span> also reported resolution rates above 99%.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"1p06izc\" data-start=\"2433\" data-end=\"2476\">Focus on transparency and public relief<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2477\" data-end=\"2790\">Officials said the 118 Smart Call Center has significantly improved access to electricity services and strengthened transparency in the power sector.
