Israel prepares to deploy international force in Gaza as part of the next phase of a postwar plan supported by the United States. Israeli media reported that the multinational force may begin operations from May 1.<\/p>\n

According to reports by the Israeli public broadcaster KAN<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, the planned mission could include around 5,000 troops from Indonesia<\/span><\/span><\/strong>. Soldiers from Kazakhstan<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, Morocco<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, Albania<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, and Kosovo<\/span><\/span><\/strong> are also expected to be part of the international contingent.<\/p>\n

The report said Israel prepares to deploy international force in Gaza first around a new Palestinian city planned in the Rafah<\/span><\/span><\/strong> area. The city is being developed with support from the United Arab Emirates<\/span><\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Later, the force could expand operations to other parts of the Gaza Strip<\/span><\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Israeli media said military delegations from participating countries may arrive in Israel<\/span><\/span><\/strong> within two weeks. Their visit will include reconnaissance tours inside Gaza before the deployment begins.<\/p>\n

The force is expected to operate near areas known in Israeli media as the \u201cyellow line.\u201d This provisional boundary was created after Israeli troops partially withdrew under a ceasefire agreement.<\/p>\n

Reports also suggest that hundreds of foreign soldiers may travel to Jordan<\/span><\/span><\/strong> next month. They will undergo training there before entering Gaza<\/a> as part of the stabilisation force.<\/p>\n

The deployment plan is linked to a postwar proposal supported by Donald Trump<\/span><\/span><\/strong>. The plan outlines governance arrangements for Gaza during a transitional phase.<\/p>\n

Earlier announcements from the White House<\/span><\/span><\/strong> mentioned several institutions, including a Board of Peace and a Gaza Executive Council. These bodies would help manage governance and security after the conflict.<\/p>\n

The international stabilisation force would supervise security operations in Gaza. It would also work to disarm armed groups and help ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid and reconstruction materials.<\/p>\n

The plan forms part of a broader framework supported by United Nations Security Council<\/span><\/span><\/strong> through Resolution 2803 issued in November 2025.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Indonesia<\/span><\/span><\/strong> has warned it may withdraw from the Board of Peace if Palestinian independence is not supported. Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto<\/span><\/span><\/strong> shared this position during a meeting with Islamic scholars in Jakarta<\/span><\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A ceasefire in Gaza took effect on October 10, 2025, after nearly two years of war. The conflict caused widespread destruction across Gaza and left tens of thousands of Palestinians dead and injured.
