Iran strikes Gulf transport and energy hubs as tensions rise across the Middle East. The conflict expanded on Monday after Iranian forces launched attacks across several regional locations.<\/p>\n

Iranian officials said the country is ready to continue the war for as long as necessary. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi<\/span><\/span> told reporters in Tehran that Iran will defend itself strongly against any threats.<\/p>\n

According to Iranian military<\/a> sources, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps<\/span><\/span> targeted locations in Israel and several Gulf states. These included attacks near Ben Gurion Airport<\/span><\/span> and military facilities used by US forces in the United Arab Emirates<\/span><\/span> and Bahrain<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

The latest developments came as Iran strikes Gulf transport and energy hubs continued to disrupt regional infrastructure. A drone attack caused a fuel tank fire close to Dubai International Airport<\/span><\/span><\/a>, forcing authorities to move passengers to safer areas.<\/p>\n

Another missile strike killed a civilian in their vehicle in Abu Dhabi<\/span><\/span>. A separate drone attack also caused a fire near oil facilities in Fujairah<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

At the same time, explosions were reported in Tehran as Iranian air defense systems responded to incoming strikes. Israel said it targeted military sites in the cities of Shiraz<\/span><\/span> and Tabriz<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Israeli military spokesman Effie Defrin<\/span><\/span> said thousands of potential targets still remain inside Iran. He added that new targets are being identified every day.<\/p>\n

Global energy markets have reacted sharply. Oil prices have surged by nearly 40 to 50 percent after Iran attacked shipping routes in the Strait of Hormuz<\/span><\/span>. This waterway carries about one fifth of the world\u2019s crude oil supply.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump<\/span><\/span> called on major global powers to help secure the route and protect oil tankers moving through the strait.<\/p>\n

He urged countries including China<\/span><\/span>, France<\/span><\/span>, Japan<\/span><\/span>, South Korea<\/span><\/span> and United Kingdom<\/span><\/span> to deploy naval ships to escort tankers.<\/p>\n

In Europe, foreign ministers of the European Union<\/span><\/span> held discussions about extending their Red Sea naval security mission.<\/p>\n

On another front, Israel announced limited ground operations against the Iran-backed group Hezbollah<\/span><\/span> in southern Lebanon<\/span><\/span>. Israeli officials say the operation aims to strengthen defensive positions near the border.<\/p>\n

The conflict has already affected several countries in the region. Saudi authorities said they intercepted more than 60 drones overnight.<\/p>\n

Officials in Baghdad<\/span><\/span> also reported that rockets struck the city\u2019s airport area, injuring five people.<\/p>\n

Iran claims it has fired around 700 missiles and more than 3,600 drones at US and Israeli targets since the conflict intensified.<\/p>\n

According to Iran\u2019s health ministry, more than 1,200 people have been killed in strikes carried out by US and Israeli forces. The figures have not been independently verified.<\/p>\n

The United Nations<\/a> High Commissioner for Refugees<\/span><\/span> says up to 3.2 million people may have been displaced inside Iran because of the war.<\/p>\n
