When a person receives the guest chat link and opens it on their phone or desktop browser, they will be able to become part of the temporary conversation.<\/p>\n
The person’s profile will appear as a guest within the chat to make it clear that they are not a registered WhatsApp user.<\/p>\n
WhatsApp will provide end-to-end encryption protection to all chats, so messages will remain secure.<\/p>\n
Since the guest user will not have a WhatsApp account, they will not be able to be identified like a normal WhatsApp user when they join the chat.<\/p>\n
This means that anyone who has access to the invite link can become a part of the chat, so you have to share these links carefully.<\/p>\n
Limited features will be available to guest users, such as they cannot become part of groups, cannot share media files such as photos, videos, documents and stickers, etc., and voice or video calls are also not possible.<\/p>\n
The purpose of guest chat is to provide temporary connectivity and the link will automatically expire if there is no chat for 10 days.<\/p>\n
