The decision comes after global oil supply disruptions linked to tensions in the Middle East, including the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1139\" data-end=\"1307\">To manage the situation, the government recently announced austerity measures. These include a four-day work week and work-from-home arrangements for various offices.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1309\" data-end=\"1583\">The Prime Minister\u2019s Office added that Pakistan Day will be observed this year with simple and dignified ceremonies, including flag-hoisting events. All ministries and departments have been directed to mark the day in a modest manner while keeping its significance intact.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1585\" data-end=\"1790\">Pakistan Day, observed annually on March 23, commemorates the Lahore Resolution of 1940.
