He stressed the need to involve the private sector and improve public facilities across the country.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1133\" data-end=\"1310\">Officials shared updates on reforms in the construction sector. Talks are ongoing with the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Federal Board of Revenue<\/span><\/span> and provincial governments to standardise taxes.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1312\" data-end=\"1455\">Draft proposals for mortgage reforms are also under review. These changes aim to improve housing finance access and make home ownership easier.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1457\" data-end=\"1582\">A public-private partnership plan is being prepared. It will focus on building homes for low-income families across Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1584\" data-end=\"1746\">The government is also planning to establish a real estate regulatory authority. This body will oversee housing and real estate activities to ensure transparency.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1748\" data-end=\"1905\">Work is underway on a Real Estate Investment Trust. It involves the finance ministry, FBR, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan<\/span><\/span>, and provincial departments.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1907\" data-end=\"2067\">Senior ministers and officials attended the meeting.
