He added that sites linked to the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">United States<\/span><\/span> and <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Israel<\/span><\/span> could also be affected.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1022\" data-end=\"1287\">This Iran power system attack warning came after a statement by former US President <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Donald Trump<\/span><\/span>. He warned Iran to act within 48 hours to reopen the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Strait of Hormuz<\/span><\/span>. Otherwise, Iran\u2019s power plants could be targeted.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1289\" data-end=\"1493\">Meanwhile, past remarks from <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/world\/irans-security-chief-ali-larijani-killed-claims-israel\/\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Ali Larijani<\/span><\/span><\/a> have also resurfaced. He had earlier said that if Iran\u2019s power system is attacked, the whole region could face blackout within minutes.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1495\" data-end=\"1666\">Experts say such strong statements can increase regional tensions.
