PSL 11 matches without spectators will be held only in Karachi and Lahore, according to the Pakistan Cricket Board.<\/p>\n
The decision was announced by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi during a press conference in Lahore. He confirmed that PSL 11 matches without spectators will begin on March 26 as per schedule.<\/p>\n
He said the opening ceremony of the tournament has also been cancelled. The step has been taken as part of cost-cutting measures and current regional conditions.<\/p>\n
Mohsin Naqvi apologized to cricket fans. He said tickets already purchased will be refunded. Fans will not be allowed inside stadiums until the situation improves.<\/p>\n
He explained that the government had already announced austerity measures. Because of this, PSL 11 matches without spectators will take place in only two cities to reduce expenses and travel.<\/p>\n
The PCB chairman added that a new schedule will be released soon. It will focus on minimizing player movement between cities.<\/p>\n
Despite the changes, the tournament will go ahead as planned. PCB will pay gate money to franchises to cover losses.<\/p>\n
