{"id":105490,"date":"2026-03-29T13:29:34","date_gmt":"2026-03-29T08:29:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=105490"},"modified":"2026-03-29T13:30:23","modified_gmt":"2026-03-29T08:30:23","slug":"amir-muqam-chairs-key-meeting-on-gilgit-situation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/amir-muqam-chairs-key-meeting-on-gilgit-situation\/","title":{"rendered":"Amir Muqam chairs key meeting on Gilgit situation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>GILGIT: Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/federal-govt-to-dissolve-safron-ministry-two-health-ministrys-authorities\/\">SAFRON<\/a> Amir Muqam chaired an important meeting regarding the current situation in Gilgit.<\/p>\n<p>In the meeting, the Federal Minister was given a detailed briefing on the ongoing energy projects in the region, including the 100 MW solar power project, as well as the solar plates project provided as a gift to the people of Gilgit-Baltistan by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.<\/p>\n<p>The concerned officials briefed the Federal Minister about the current progress of the projects, technical aspects and future prospects.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting reviewed the overall situation of Gilgit-Baltistan, law and order and other important issues, while various measures were also considered to further improve the situation.<\/p>\n<p>On this occasion, the Federal Minister appreciated the ongoing initiatives in the energy sector and stressed the importance of timely completion and effective implementation of the projects.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the government is taking serious steps to promote sustainable energy in Gilgit-Baltistan and solar energy projects will play an important role in meeting the energy needs of the region.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Gilgit-Baltistan Arshad Majeed Mohmand, Additional Chief Secretary Mushtaq Ahmed, IG Gilgit-Baltistan Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, Commissioner Gilgit and other senior government officials.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GILGIT: Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON Amir Muqam chaired an important meeting regarding the current situation in Gilgit.
