Pakistan Middle East peace efforts<\/strong> received strong support from Antonio Costa<\/span><\/span> during a phone call with Shehbaz Sharif<\/span><\/span> on Monday. Both leaders agreed that dialogue and diplomacy are key to restoring peace in the region.<\/p>\n

During the call, PM Shehbaz shared details of Pakistan\u2019s ongoing diplomatic steps. He said the country is actively working to reduce tensions in the Middle East through peaceful engagement.<\/p>\n

The two leaders also discussed Pakistan\u2019s relations with the European Union. They highlighted the importance of the GSP+ trade status and cooperation in different sectors.<\/p>\n

PM Shehbaz said both sides agreed that peaceful talks must continue. He stressed that only dialogue can bring stability to the region.<\/p>\n

The prime minister also mentioned the upcoming Pakistan\u2013EU Business Forum. The event is expected to take place in Islamabad at the end of April.<\/p>\n

Pakistan Middle East peace efforts have gained attention as Islamabad plays a role between Iran<\/span><\/span> and the United States<\/span><\/span>. The country has been helping pass messages between the two sides.<\/p>\n

Senior officials, including Asim Munir<\/span><\/span>, have also been part of key contacts. These efforts were confirmed by the White House.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, Pakistan hosted a meeting in Islamabad with foreign ministers from Saudi Arabia<\/span><\/span>, Turkiye<\/span><\/span>, and Egypt<\/span><\/span>. The talks focused on the ongoing conflict.<\/p>\n

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar<\/span><\/span> said Pakistan is ready to host direct talks between Iran and the US. He added that both sides trust Pakistan\u2019s role as a mediator.<\/p>\n

Antonio Costa said the European Union is concerned about the long conflict and its global impact. He added that the EU supports all efforts aimed at peace.<\/p>\n
