{"id":105816,"date":"2026-03-31T15:13:25","date_gmt":"2026-03-31T10:13:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=105816"},"modified":"2026-03-31T15:13:25","modified_gmt":"2026-03-31T10:13:25","slug":"ihc-restores-dr-fazila-abbasis-interim-bail-in-money-laundering-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/showbiz\/ihc-restores-dr-fazila-abbasis-interim-bail-in-money-laundering-case\/","title":{"rendered":"IHC restores Dr. Fazila Abbasi\u2019s interim bail in Money Laundering Case"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: Hamza Ali Abbasi\u2019s sister <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/showbiz\/fia-probes-dr-fazila-abbasi-in-multi-million-dollar-money-laundering-case\/\">Dr. Fazila Abbasi<\/a>\u2019s interim bail has been restored on a bond of Rs 100,000 in a money laundering case.<\/p>\n<p>According to details, the Islamabad High Court has restored the interim bail of Dr. Fazila Abbasi, wanted in a money laundering case worth billions of rupees, and ordered her to submit a surety bond of Rs 100,000.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Fazila Abbasi appeared in the Islamabad High Court along with her lawyer, renowned lawyer Naeem Bukhari.<\/p>\n<p>During the hearing, Naeem Bukhari told the court that his client had previously appeared in the trial court three times, but once she failed to appear and submitted a three-day medical certificate, which the court rejected instead of accepting.<\/p>\n<p>After hearing the arguments, the Islamabad High Court restored the interim bail of Dr. Fazila Abbasi and directed her to approach the trial court again.<\/p>\n<p>The court ordered the Registrar&#8217;s Office to hear the case and to restrain her from arrest in lieu of bail.<\/p>\n<p>It should be noted that Dr. Fazila Abbasi is wanted by the Federal Investigation Agency in a high-profile money laundering case, in which she is accused of transferring huge sums of money abroad.
