The situation has affected passengers travelling to multiple Gulf destinations as regional conflict continues to impact aviation operations.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"648\" data-end=\"931\">According to airport officials, flight operations were badly hit, with the highest number of cancellations reported at <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Jinnah International Airport<\/span><\/span>. Authorities confirmed that a total of 56 two-way flights to Middle Eastern countries were cancelled from five major airports.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"933\" data-end=\"1197\">The affected flights were operated by leading airlines, including <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Pakistan International Airlines<\/span><\/span>, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Airblue<\/span><\/span>, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Air Arabia<\/span><\/span>, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Iran Air<\/span><\/span>, and <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Qatar Airways<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1199\" data-end=\"1405\">At Karachi airport, around 20 two-way flights were cancelled. These routes included major destinations such as Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Jeddah, Dammam, Sharjah, Madinah, Muscat, Riyadh, Najaf, Bahrain, and Dubai.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1407\" data-end=\"1618\">Similarly, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Islamabad International Airport<\/span><\/span> also faced heavy disruptions, with another 20 two-way flights cancelled. The affected routes covered Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Bahrain, Riyadh, Dammam, and Doha.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1620\" data-end=\"1760\">At <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Allama Iqbal International Airport<\/span><\/span>, six two-way flights to Middle Eastern destinations, including Abu Dhabi and Dubai, were cancelled.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1762\" data-end=\"1901\">Meanwhile, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Bacha Khan International Airport<\/span><\/span> reported eight cancelled two-way flights on routes to Dubai, Doha, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1903\" data-end=\"1994\">At <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Multan International Airport<\/span><\/span>, two two-way flights to Dubai were also cancelled.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1996\" data-end=\"2219\">Airport sources revealed that over the past 35 days, the total number of cancelled flights between Pakistan and Middle Eastern countries has reached 2,706, highlighting the ongoing impact of regional tensions on air travel.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2221\" data-end=\"2536\">In a separate development, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Pakistan International Airlines<\/span><\/span> recently resumed its Islamabad to London route after a gap of six years.
