{"id":106490,"date":"2026-04-05T15:07:20","date_gmt":"2026-04-05T10:07:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=106490"},"modified":"2026-04-05T15:07:20","modified_gmt":"2026-04-05T10:07:20","slug":"sindh-on-high-alert-as-thunderstorms-forecasted-from-april-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/sindh-on-high-alert-as-thunderstorms-forecasted-from-april-5\/","title":{"rendered":"Sindh on high alert as thunderstorms forecasted from April 5"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI: The <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/weather\/iran-weather-system-may-bring-polluted-particles-to-pakistan-says-meteorological-department\/\">Meteorological Department<\/a> has predicted thunderstorms in Sindh from tomorrow, after which a high alert has been sounded.<\/p>\n<p>Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon, while talking to the media, said that after the forecast of rains in Sindh, a high alert has been sounded in all relevant institutions.<\/p>\n<p>He said that rain is predicted in Sukkur, Kashmore, Ghotki, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Larkana, Qambar and Jamshoro, while the rains may intensify on April 6.<\/p>\n<p>Sharjeel Memon said that effective drainage arrangements have been ensured in urban areas. The district administration, local bodies and rescue services have been mobilized. However, residents of low-lying areas should be careful and avoid unnecessary travel.<\/p>\n<p>The provincial minister added that the government stands with the farmers and will compensate for the losses.
