City Traffic Officer Rawalpindi<\/a> Farhan Aslam, great progress has been made in the process of providing driving licenses to citizens.<\/p>\nDuring the past one month, a record 84,500 citizens were provided with various licensing facilities.<\/p>\n
In the monthly report issued by the spokesperson of Rawalpindi Traffic Police, it was stated that 23,266 citizens obtained learner permits to learn driving, while 15,025 citizens who passed the test were issued new regular licenses.<\/p>\n
In addition, 5,208 citizens renewed their expired licenses, while 154 citizens traveling abroad were issued international driving permits.<\/p>\n
The spokesperson further said that 929 licenses were endorsed, while a total of about 40,000 citizens were provided with other miscellaneous licensing services.<\/p>\n
CTO Rawalpindi appreciated the enthusiasm of the citizens and said that providing \u201cideal facilities\u201d to the citizens as per the instructions of DIG Traffic is our top priority.<\/p>\n
He further said that citizens should obtain their driving licenses on time to avoid any kind of legal action and heavy challans. Now obtaining a license has been made easier than ever.\u201d<\/p>\n
For the convenience of citizens, the traffic police has also activated online facilities through the DLIMS website, so that citizens can resolve their license issues sitting at home without visiting offices.<\/p>\n
