WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump<\/span><\/span> has issued a stern warning to Iran<\/span><\/span><\/a>, declaring that the Tuesday deadline to reopen the Strait of Hormuz<\/span><\/span> is final, amid ongoing tensions in the region.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the media, Trump said that if Iran fails to comply, it could face severe consequences, including the destruction of critical infrastructure such as bridges and power plants. He also warned that the United States could move to seize oil resources if necessary.<\/p>\n

The US president claimed that recent military operations in Iran amounted to a \u201cregime change,\u201d adding that Iran now has limited missile and drone capabilities. He emphasized that US proposals for a deal are \u201cvery important\u201d and reiterated that Iran must not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons.<\/p>\n
