ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has strongly condemned the missile and drone attacks on energy facilities<\/a> in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia, which have been attributed to Iran.<\/p>\n

The Foreign Office spokesperson said in a statement that Pakistan expresses deep sorrow and grief over the loss of precious lives in these attacks and extends its heartfelt condolences to the affected families.<\/p>\n

Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan\u00a0Reza Amiri Moqadam<\/a>\u00a0has praised Pakistan\u2019s diplomatic efforts for a ceasefire between Iran and the US, calling it a significant breakthrough.<\/p>\n

In his statement, the Iranian ambassador said that Pakistan\u2019s positive and constructive diplomacy has played an important role in preventing tensions from reaching dangerous levels. He said that Iran values \u200b\u200bthe efforts of its brotherly country, Pakistan, which are aimed at stopping American and Israeli aggression and establishing peace and stability in the region.<\/p>\n

According to Reza Amiri Moqadam, Pakistan\u2019s diplomatic efforts to end the war have entered an important phase and further progress is expected in this regard.<\/p>\n
