The US Iran ceasefire<\/strong> has been widely welcomed across the world, with global leaders urging all sides to follow international law and ensure lasting peace. The agreement, announced amid rising tensions in the Middle East, aims to reduce conflict and open the door for diplomatic solutions.<\/p>\n

United Nations<\/span><\/span> Secretary-General Ant\u00f3nio Guterres<\/span><\/span> praised the development. He called on all parties to respect international laws and fully implement the ceasefire terms. He stressed that lasting peace in the Middle East depends on strict compliance with the agreement.<\/p>\n

European Commission<\/span><\/span> President Ursula von der Leyen<\/span><\/span> thanked Pakistan<\/span><\/span> for its role in mediation. She emphasized that continued dialogue is essential to reach a sustainable solution and said cooperation with global partners will continue.<\/p>\n

Turkey<\/span><\/span> also urged all sides to respect the ceasefire agreement. Meanwhile, Anwar Ibrahim<\/span><\/span> highlighted the need for long-term peace in the region. Keir Starmer<\/span><\/span> said the ceasefire would bring relief to both the region and the wider world. The United Kingdom<\/span><\/span> government also announced that Starmer will visit the Middle East to meet allies and discuss keeping the Strait of Hormuz<\/span><\/span> open.<\/p>\n

Emmanuel Macron<\/span><\/span> described the ceasefire announcement as positive but stressed the need for full compliance. He added that the situation in Lebanon remains concerning and should be included in broader peace efforts.<\/p>\n

Pedro S\u00e1nchez<\/span><\/span> criticized those who escalate conflicts and later attempt to resolve them, calling for more responsible global leadership.<\/p>\n

Germany also welcomed the development. Officials said the ceasefire should be the first step toward lasting peace. The German government thanked Pakistan for its diplomatic efforts and emphasized the importance of continued negotiations to fully end the conflict.<\/p>\n
