KARACHI: National team fast bowler and ODI cricket team captain Shaheen Shah Afridi’s statement on Pakistan’s role in the US-Iran ceasefire has come to light.<\/p>\n

In a statement released on X, Shaheen Afridi<\/a> said that Pakistan’s positive role for world peace is a matter of pride, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir played an important role for peace.<\/p>\n

Shaheen Afridi said that the efforts of the national leadership to promote dialogue and stability are commendable, the ceasefire is a victory for humanity, Pakistan showed the way to hope, Pakistan is moving towards peace, unity and a bright future, proud to be a Pakistani.<\/p>\n

Earlier, former captain and Shaheen Afridi’s father-in-law Shahid Afridi said in a statement released on X that Pakistan stands proudly because this could be one of the most important diplomatic moments in our history.<\/p>\n

Shahid Afridi said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Asim Munir and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar have led with a clear strategy and strong will.
