While other business centers are subject to early closure orders, call centers and business process outsourcing (BPO) companies will be exempt and allowed to operate 24\/7.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"806\" data-end=\"1066\">Officials stated that Pakistan\u2019s IT and BPO sector plays a crucial role in the national economy. Providing facilitation to this sector is essential to avoid disruption in exports and online services, especially for companies dealing with international clients.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1068\" data-end=\"1323\">Furthermore, recent local holidays in <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Islamabad<\/span><\/span> and <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Rawalpindi<\/span><\/span> will not apply to call centers. This step has been taken to ensure uninterrupted operations for businesses working with overseas clients.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1325\" data-end=\"1536\">The minister also acknowledged that delays in communication by some district administrations had caused confusion and difficulties. However, the government has assured that such issues will be resolved promptly.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1538\" data-end=\"1763\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Call centers have been advised to contact the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Pakistan Software Export Board<\/span><\/span> in case of any issues related to security or operating hours.
