GILGIT: According to a notification issued by Chief Election Commissioner Gilgit-Baltistan<\/a> Raja Shahbaz Khan, Returning Officers and Assistant Returning Officers have been appointed to conduct elections on seats reserved for women and technocrats under the relevant provisions of the Election Act 2017.<\/p>\n

According to the Public Relations Department of the Election Commission Secretariat, Gilgit-Baltistan, Secretary Law and Prosecution Rahim Gul has been appointed as the Returning Officer who will be responsible for monitoring the election process and its transparent conduct, while Provincial Election Commissioner Gilgit-Baltistan Abid Raza and Deputy Election Commissioner Atiq Ahmed have been appointed as Assistant Returning Officers who will assist the Returning Officer in carrying out election matters.<\/p>\n
