RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir<\/a> has said that the nation and the armed forces are united like a uniform in the face of internal and external challenges.<\/p>\n

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the 275th Corps Commanders Conference was held under the chairmanship of Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir, in which a great tribute was paid to the armed forces, law enforcement agencies and innocent citizens who sacrificed their lives in the defense of the motherland, while it was also reiterated that the eternal sacrifices of the martyrs will always remain the foundation of Pakistan\u2019s national security, unity and stability.<\/p>\n

Field Marshal Asim Munir expressed satisfaction with the preparedness, professionalism and combat capabilities of the armed forces of Pakistan. He appreciated the determination, readiness and success of the commanders and formations in the ongoing intelligence-based counter-terrorism operations across the country.<\/p>\n

According to the statement, the Corps Commanders Conference said that the current operational momentum will be maintained to completely eliminate terrorist networks, destroy their supporting infrastructure and prevent any malicious activity on Pakistani soil.<\/p>\n

The forum covered the ongoing destruction of terrorists and their supporting infrastructure through Operation Ghazbad-ul-Haq and said that under the illogical and misleading policy of the Afghan Taliban regime, safe havens are being provided to Khawarij and other terrorist organizations. The Afghan Taliban regime\u2019s support for terrorism is completely against the interests of the Afghan people and this regime has now been completely exposed before its own people.<\/p>\n

The statement said that the forum said that the Afghan Taliban regime has been falsely accusing Pakistan of targeting civilians inside Afghanistan in recent days under a continuous propaganda campaign. This misleading narrative is part of a systematic disinformation campaign by the Afghan Taliban regime aimed at diverting attention from its internal failures and creating a drama of presenting itself as the victim. Pakistan categorically rejects these baseless allegations and makes it clear that our defensive operations are based only on accurate targets against infiltrators, terrorist hideouts and supporting infrastructure.<\/p>\n

The forum, while reviewing the regional security situation, clarified that emerging geopolitical developments could have a profound impact on regional stability.<\/p>\n

The Corps Commanders\u2019 Conference emphasized the importance of preventing regional tensions and exercising restraint and said that Pakistan supports efforts to promote stability in the region and prevent further deterioration of the situation by continuing to demonstrate responsibility.<\/p>\n

The forum reiterated that peace and stability in the region depend on mutual tolerance, responsibility and respect for sovereignty.<\/p>\n

Field Marshal Asim Munir congratulated the nation and the armed forces on the completion of the commemorative year of the \u2018Battle of Truth\u2019 and termed it an important milestone. He said that the Battle of Truth reflects national unity, collective resolve and an unwavering commitment to protect Pakistan\u2019s sovereignty at all costs.<\/p>\n

The Corps Commanders\u2019 Conference said that commemorating the Battle of Truth at the national level is a clear message to the arrogant Indian political mindset that the Pakistani nation is united, strong and fully prepared in every respect.<\/p>\n

The Army Chief said that the Battle of Truth is a symbol of unwavering harmony between the people, government and the armed forces of Pakistan, which stand together like a \u201csolid fabric\u201d in the face of all internal and external challenges.<\/p>\n

The forum strongly condemned the ongoing atrocities, extrajudicial killings and demographic changes in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and reiterated Pakistan\u2019s commitment to diplomatic, political and moral support for the just struggle of the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n

At the end of the conference, the Army Chief and the Chief of Defence Forces directed the commanders to maintain a high level of readiness and operational preparedness in view of emerging threats.<\/p>\n
