Pakistan is likely to receive funds under the $7 billion Extended Fund Facility (EFF) and the $1.4 billion Resilience and Sustainability Facility (RSF).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"581\" data-end=\"842\">Sources said the third review of Pakistan\u2019s $7 billion EFF program has been completed successfully, increasing the chances of approval for the next $1 billion tranche. An additional $210 million is also expected following the second review of the RSF program.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"844\" data-end=\"1095\">Pakistan and the IMF had reached a staff-level agreement on March 27, paving the way for the Executive Board\u2019s approval. Sources added that if the board approves the amount, the funds will soon be transferred to the State Bank of Pakistan\u2019s account.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1097\" data-end=\"1333\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Pakistan secured the current 37-month IMF program in September 2024.
