{"id":111621,"date":"2026-05-07T16:03:37","date_gmt":"2026-05-07T11:03:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=111621"},"modified":"2026-05-07T16:03:37","modified_gmt":"2026-05-07T11:03:37","slug":"pak-vs-ban-test-series-trophy-unveiled-in-dhaka","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/sports\/pak-vs-ban-test-series-trophy-unveiled-in-dhaka\/","title":{"rendered":"Pak vs Ban: Test series trophy unveiled in Dhaka"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DHAKA: The trophy for the Test series played between the cricket teams of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/sports\/pakistan-cricket-board-names-emerging-team-of-psl-11\/\">Pakistan<\/a> and Bangladesh was revealed in the presence of their respective team captains, who jointly performed the unveiling ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>The first Test of the series will start in Mirpur from tomorrow, while the second Test will be played in Sylhet from May 16.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the Bangladesh Cricket Board has made an important announcement for fans and provided free entry to students during the Test series.<\/p>\n<p>Students will be able to watch the matches without tickets with their institution&#8217;s card and uniform.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, children up to 15 years of age undergoing training in cricket academies have also been allowed to watch the matches for free, the aim of which is said to be to promote the sport among the youth.<\/p>\n<h2>Pakistan Squad<\/h2>\n<p>Shahn Masood (captain), Abdullah Fazal, Imad Butt, Azan Owais, Babar Azam, Hasan Ali, Imam-ul-Haq, and Khurram Shahzad are part of the squad.<\/p>\n<p>Muhammad Abbas, Muhammad Rizwan, Muhammad Ghazi Ghauri, Noman Ali, Sajid Khan, Salman Ali Agha, Saud Shakeel and Shaheen Shah Afridi are also included in the squad.<\/p>\n<h2>Bangladesh Squad<\/h2>\n<p>Najamul Hasan Shanto (captain), Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Shadman Islam, Mominul Haq, Mushfiqur Rahim, Liton Das, Mehdi Hasan Miraz, Teejul Islam, Naeem Hasan, Ibadat Hossain, Sharaful Islam, Taskin Ahmed, Naheed Rana, Tanzeed Hasan, Amate Hasan<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DHAKA: The trophy for the Test series played between the cricket teams of Pakistan and Bangladesh was revealed in the presence of their respective team captains, who jointly performed the unveiling ceremony.
