pink electric scooties<\/a> to provide better convenience to women in their daily travel. This decision was taken in an important meeting chaired by Provincial Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon. The meeting reviewed various projects related to modernizing the transport system across Sindh and providing better travel facilities to citizens.<\/p>\nAccording to officials, the aim of the pink electric scooty project is to make women independent and provide them with safe travel facilities. Under this scheme, women will be given eco-friendly electric scooties so that they can travel easily for education, employment and other essential tasks.<\/p>\n
Sharjeel Memon directed the concerned authorities during the meeting to remove all obstacles in the registration of pink scooties immediately so that the project can be completed soon and timely facilities can be provided to women.<\/p>\n
The meeting also approved the launch of inter-city people\u2019s bus service in various cities of Sindh. In the initial phase, new buses will be run in Larkana, Hyderabad, Dadu, Sehwan and other districts. In addition, new routes from Khairpur to Rohri and from Khairpur to Ranipur will also be activated soon. More consignments of new buses are also expected to arrive for Karachi in the next few months.<\/p>\n
Sharjeel Inam Memon said that the convenience of women, students and daily commuters is the top priority of the government.
