{"id":112682,"date":"2026-05-16T09:41:44","date_gmt":"2026-05-16T04:41:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=112682"},"modified":"2026-05-16T09:41:44","modified_gmt":"2026-05-16T04:41:44","slug":"rs7-23-per-litre-reduction-announced-in-kerosene-price","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/rs7-23-per-litre-reduction-announced-in-kerosene-price\/","title":{"rendered":"Rs7.23 per litre reduction announced in kerosene price"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: After a reduction in petrol and high-speed diesel prices, the government has also lowered the price of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/govt-increases-kerosene-oil-prices-by-rs-34-08-per-litre\/\">kerosene oil<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As per an official notification, the price of kerosene was cut by Rs7.23 per litre, so the new rate comes to Rs311.73 per litre from the earlier Rs318.96 per litre.<\/p>\n<p>The notification said the revised price is effective immediately.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, the government already reduced the price of kerosene by Rs41.80 per litre, as part of a wider revision in petroleum product prices.<\/p>\n<p>Before that, the government had announced a cut of Rs5 per litre in the prices of both petrol and high-speed diesel.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, according to the Petroleum Division, the new price of petrol has been set at Rs409.78 per litre, while high-speed diesel will now be sold at Rs409.58 per litre.<\/p>\n<p>Sources in the Ministry of Petroleum said that the petrol levy has been reduced, while the diesel levy has been raised.<\/p>\n<p>The petroleum levy on petrol has been reduced by Rs9.24 per litre, bringing it down from Rs117.41 to Rs108.17 per litre.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the petroleum levy on diesel has been increased by Rs9.40 per litre, taking it from Rs42.60 to Rs52 per litre.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: After a reduction in petrol and high-speed diesel prices, the government has also lowered the price of kerosene oil.
