QUETTA: The Balochistan<\/span><\/span> government has signed a landmark agreement with State Life Insurance<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0Corporation of Pakistan<\/span><\/span> to launch the \u201cPeople\u2019s Health Program\u201d, a province-wide health insurance scheme aimed at providing cashless medical treatment facilities to government employees, pensioners, and their families.<\/p>\n

Under the initiative, more than 350,000 serving government employees, pensioners and their dependents will receive complete medical coverage across the province.<\/p>\n

The memorandum of understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was attended by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari<\/span><\/span>, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti<\/span><\/span>, Balochistan Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar<\/span><\/span> and State Life Insurance Corporation CEO Shoaib Javed Hussain<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

The agreement was formally signed by Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Panzai and Muhammad Usher.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the occasion, Bakht Muhammad Kakar said the \u201cPeople\u2019s Health Program\u201d would introduce a fully digital and cashless healthcare system, replacing the traditional manual reimbursement process.<\/p>\n

He said beneficiaries would have access to quality treatment facilities at more than 1,000 government and private hospitals included in State Life\u2019s panel across Pakistan, ensuring timely healthcare services.<\/p>\n

The health minister added that the program would improve administrative efficiency and help the government achieve significant financial savings through effective systems and improved service delivery.<\/p>\n

Shoaib Javed Hussain said State Life was honoured that the Balochistan government had entrusted the corporation with implementing the major healthcare initiative.<\/p>\n

He said State Life\u2019s nationwide network, digital claims management systems and experience in large-scale health insurance services would ensure transparent and uninterrupted healthcare access throughout the province.<\/p>\n

According to officials, the initiative is part of broader efforts to strengthen healthcare accessibility and provide reliable medical protection to government employees and their families.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
