ISLAMABAD: The average retail price of cement per sack has witnessed a slight decrease in northern parts of the country, while a marginal increase was recorded in southern regions during the past week, according to official data.<\/p>\n

The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics<\/span><\/span><\/a> weekly report stated that in the week ending May 14, the average retail price of cement per 50kg sack in northern cities stood at Rs1,526, marking a 0.16 percent decrease compared to the previous week\u2019s Rs1,528.<\/p>\n

In southern regions, the average price was recorded at Rs1,540, showing a slight increase of 0.03 percent from Rs1,539 in the previous week.<\/p>\n
