Moreover, the initiative can also be helpful in ensuring that there are fewer dropouts among children from poor families.<\/p>\n<p>Quarterly educational scholarships will be distributed to the children of the existing beneficiaries of the BISP Kafalat initiative.<\/p>\n<h2>Eligibility Criteria<\/h2>\n<p>Applicants fulfilling the below-listed criteria will be eligible to apply for the scholarship scheme:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The mother of the student must be an active beneficiary of the BISP Kafalat Program.<\/li>\n<li>In addition to this, the child must have a valid NADRA B-Form\/CRC.<\/li>\n<li>The child must also meet the following age range criteria:<\/li>\n<li>Primary Education 4 &#8211; 12 years<\/li>\n<li>Secondary Education 8 &#8211; 18 years<\/li>\n<li>Higher Secondary Education 13 &#8211; 22 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Registration Process<\/h2>\n<p>Below are the steps involved in registering for the scheme:<\/p>\n<p>To complete the registration procedure, guardians and parents must do the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Go to the nearest BISP Field Office along with the child.<\/li>\n<li>B-form of the child issued by NADRA and the mobile number, which is already issued to the child through BISP.<\/li>\n<li>The officer concerned will give the enrollment slip to the guardian\/parent after registering the child.<\/li>\n<li>The concerned officer will register the child and give an enrollment slip.<\/li>\n<li>The school of the child will certify the slip of the child.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>It should contain:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The class and section of the child<\/li>\n<li>Name of the school<\/li>\n<li>Details of the class teacher<\/li>\n<li>Verification of the head teacher<\/li>\n<li>Bring the certified enrollment slip to the BISP office.<\/li>\n<li>The stipend amount will be paid after verifying the enrollment slip.<\/li>\n<li>Requirements for Stipend: Attendance Requirement<\/li>\n<li>In case the children are receiving stipends and want to keep on getting them, they have to ensure that they maintain an attendance of at least 70%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Stipend Amount<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Quarterly stipend will be:<\/li>\n<li>Primary (Classes 1\u20135) Rs 2,500 Rs 3,000<\/li>\n<li>Secondary (Classes 6\u201310) Rs 3,500 Rs 4,000<\/li>\n<li>Higher secondary (Classes 11\u201312) Rs 4,500 Rs 5,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: Educational Scholarships are being awarded by the Government of Pakistan to its citizens with the help of the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif programme.
