WASHINGTON: The finalization of the peace agreement to end the ongoing tension and fighting between the United States<\/a> and Iran is expected to be announced by Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n

The American newspaper The Washington Times<\/em> has reported, citing sources, that a consensus was reached on the draft agreement on Saturday morning and that it could be officially announced within the next 24 hours.<\/p>\n

According to the report, the negotiations included Iranian Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, JD Vance, Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner, who have approved the initial draft of the peace agreement.<\/p>\n

It has been reported that the document has been sent to the top leadership of both countries for final approval.<\/p>\n

If this agreement is successful, the ceasefire that has been going on for the past 6 weeks could take the form of a permanent peace; however, Donald Trump has indicated that the possibility of new attacks in the future cannot be completely ruled out.<\/p>\n

According to the newspaper, the full details of the proposed ceasefire agreement have not yet been revealed, while important points of contention, such as the future of Iran’s nuclear program and the easing of sanctions, are still under discussion.
