KARACHI: Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC)<\/span> has announced a temporary reduction in gas load shedding<\/a> hours for citizens in Karachi<\/span><\/span> to facilitate households ahead of the Day of Arafa.<\/p>\n

According to the company, special arrangements have been made to ensure smoother gas availability for Sehri preparations.<\/p>\n

SSGC officials stated that gas supply will remain available during Sehri hours, and supply to consumers will be restored from 3:00 am, allowing residents to prepare meals without disruption.<\/p>\n

The company clarified that this relief measure will remain in effect for a limited period only, while the regular gas shutdown schedule will resume after 10:00 am\u00a0on May 26.<\/p>\n

Following the announcement, many residents expressed partial relief, although concerns regarding gas shortages and recurring load shedding continue among domestic consumers.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, sources have indicated concerns that gas load management may continue during Eid-ul-Azha as well; however, no official schedule has been issued in this regard.<\/p>\n

Consumers are hoping for improved gas availability during the Eid holidays to avoid difficulties in meeting household needs.<\/p>\n
