However, pharmacies, hospitals, and medical stores have been exempted from the restrictions and will continue to operate as usual.<\/p>\n<p>The notification further states that petrol pumps and CNG stations will remain open according to their normal schedules.<\/p>\n<p>Restaurants, food outlets, tandoors, grocery stores, vegetable and fruit shops, as well as bakeries, will be allowed to operate until 10:00 PM before closing for the day.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, marriage halls and marquees have been directed to conclude operations and close by 10:00 PM.<\/p>\n<p>The new regulations officially came into force on June 1, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: New business operating hours have come into effect in the federal capital from June 1, 2026, under a government notification aimed at energy conservation and regulation of commercial activities.
