GILGIT BALTISTAN: Ballot counting concluded across Gilgit-Baltistan<\/a> after polling for all 24 seats of the Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly concluded at 5 pm on Sunday.<\/p>\n

GBA-1 Gilgit-1<\/h2>\n

According to the unofficial results of 1 out of 80 polling stations in GBA-1 Gilgit-1 constituency, Pakistan People’s Party’s Amjad Hussain is in first place with 703 votes, while Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s Muhammad Shafiquddin is in second place with 435 votes.<\/p>\n

GBA 2 Gilgit-2<\/h2>\n

According to the unofficial results of 1 out of 91 polling stations in GBA -2 Gilgit-Baltistan constituency, Pakistan Muslim League (N)’s Hafeez-ur-Rehman is in first place with 201 votes, while Pakistan People’s Party’s Jamil Ahmed is in second place with 191 votes.<\/p>\n

GBA-4 Nagar-1<\/h2>\n

According to the unofficial results of 23 out of 53 polling stations in GBA 4 Nagar 1 constituency, Pakistan Peoples Party’s Muhammad Ali Akhtar is in first place with 2720 votes, while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Muhammad Ayub Waziri is in second place with 2608 votes.<\/p>\n

GBA-5 Nagar-2<\/h2>\n

According to the unofficial results of 5 out of 32 polling stations in GBA 5 Nagar 2 constituency, independent candidate Jahangir Shah is in first place with 381 votes, while Pakistan Muslim League (N)’s Javed Ali Manwa is in second place with 292 votes.<\/p>\n

GBA-6 Hunza<\/h2>\n

According to the unofficial results of 5 out of 88 polling stations in GBA-6 Hunza constituency, independent candidate Neknam Karim is in first place with 364 votes, while independent candidate Raja Nazim-ul-Amin is in second place with 260 votes.<\/p>\n

GBA-7 Skardu-1<\/h2>\n

According to the unofficial results of 13 out of 31 polling stations in Constituency GBA 7 Skardu 1, Raja Jalal Hussain Khan of the Stability Pakistan Party is in first place with 1862 votes, while Syed Tauqir Mehdi of the Pakistan Peoples Party is in second place with 1610 votes.<\/p>\n

GBA-8 Skardu-2<\/h2>\n

According to the unofficial results of 4 out of 70 polling stations in Constituency GBA 8 Skardu 2, Imtiaz Haider Khan of Pakistan Muslim League (N) is in first place with 488 votes, while Syed Muhammad Ali Shah of Pakistan Peoples Party is in second place with 461 votes.<\/p>\n

GBA 9 Skardu 3<\/h2>\n

According to the unofficial results of 6 out of 54 polling stations in GBA 9 Skardu 3 constituency, Pakistan Peoples Party’s Fida Muhammad Nashad is in first place with 967 votes, while independent candidate Wazir Muhammad Saleem is in second place with 806 votes.<\/p>\n

GBA 10 Skardu 4<\/h2>\n

According to the unofficial results of 5 out of 51 polling stations in GBA-10 Skardu-4, Mushtaq Hussain of Majlis-e-Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan is in first place with 457 votes, while Nasir Ali Khan of Pakistan Peoples Party is in second place with 385 votes.<\/p>\n

GBA 11 Kharmang<\/h2>\n

According to the unofficial results of 5 out of 51 polling stations in GBA-11 Kharmang constituency, Iqbal Hassan of the Pakistan Peoples Party is in first place with 846 votes, while Syed Mohsin Rizvi of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) is in second place with 315 votes.<\/p>\n

According to the unofficial results of 6 out of 71 polling stations in GBA-12 Shigar constituency, Imran Nadeem of Pakistan Peoples Party is in first place with 1115 votes, while Tahir Shigari of Pakistan Muslim League (N) is in second place with 480 votes.<\/p>\n

GBA-13 Astore 1<\/h2>\n

According to the unofficial results of 20 out of 57 polling stations in GBA-13 Astore 1, Pakistan Peoples Party’s Fahad Hanif is in first place with 2,130 votes, while Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s Rana Farman Ali is in second place with 1,853 votes.<\/p>\n

GBA-16 Diamer-2<\/h2>\n

According to the unofficial results of 1 out of 42 polling stations in Constituency GBA 16 Diamer 2, Atiqullah of the Istehkam Pakistan Party is in first place with 195 votes, while Ataullah of the Pakistan Peoples Party is in second place with 143 votes.<\/p>\n

GBA-18 Diamer-4<\/h2>\n

According to the unofficial results of 2 out of 32 polling stations in GBA-18 Diamer-4 constituency, Gulbar Khan of the Istehkam Pakistan Party is in first place with 386 votes, while Kifayat-ur-Rehman of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) is in second place with 139 votes.<\/p>\n

GBA-19 Ghizer-1<\/h2>\n

According to the unofficial results of 9 out of 78 polling stations in GBA 19 Ghizer 1, independent candidate Nawaz Khan Naji is in first place with 1223 votes, while Pakistan Muslim League (N)’s Zafar Muhammad is in second place with 809 votes.<\/p>\n

GBA-20 Ghizer-2<\/h2>\n

According to unofficial results from 1 of 69 polling stations in GBA 20 Ghizer 2, Nazir Ahmed of the Pakistan Peoples Party is in first place with 126 votes, while Abdul Jahan of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) is in second place with 77 votes.<\/p>\n

GBA-21 Ghizer-3<\/h2>\n

According to unofficial results from 1 of 60 polling stations in the GBA 21 Ghizer 3 constituency, Muhammad Ayub Shah of the Pakistan Peoples Party is in first place with 87 votes, while Ghulam Muhammad of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) is in second place with 70 votes.<\/p>\n

GBA 22 Ghanche-1<\/h2>\n

According to the unofficial results of 7 out of 58 polling stations in GBA-22 Ghanche-1 constituency, Muhammad Ibrahim Sanai of Pakistan Muslim League (N) is in first place with 951 votes, while Ashiq Hussain of Pakistan Peoples Party is in second place with 888 votes.<\/p>\n

GBA 23 Ghanche-2<\/h2>\n

According to the unofficial results of 3 out of 50 polling stations in GBA 23 Ghanche 2 constituency, independent candidate Anwar Ali is in first place with 651 votes, while independent candidate Abdul Hameed is in second place with 79 votes.<\/p>\n

GBA 24 Ghanche-3<\/h2>\n

According to the unofficial results of 12 out of 46 polling stations in GBA 24 Ghanche 3 constituency, independent candidate Asad Shafiq is in first place with 2155 votes, while Pakistan Peoples Party’s Muhammad Ismail is in second place with 835 votes.<\/p>\n

GB Elections<\/h2>\n

According to election officials, the polling process remained largely peaceful throughout the day, with no major law and order incidents reported.<\/p>\n

However, isolated reports of heated exchanges between supporters of rival political parties near some polling stations were received.<\/p>\n

More than 950,000 registered voters were eligible to cast their votes across the region’s 10 districts. Nearly 400 candidates contested the elections, making it one of the most competitive electoral contests in the region.<\/p>\n

The elections were originally scheduled for January 2026, but were postponed due to severe winter weather conditions.<\/p>\n

The Election Commission of Gilgit-Baltistan established 1,391 polling stations across the territory to facilitate voters. Of these, 551 were declared highly sensitive and 349 sensitive from a security perspective.<\/p>\n

To ensure a peaceful electoral process, more than 5,000 security personnel were deployed, including over 3,000 officers and personnel from the Punjab Constabulary, alongside local police and law enforcement agencies.<\/p>\n

The Election Commission also granted first-class magistrate powers to District Returning Officers to help maintain order and ensure transparency during polling and vote counting.<\/p>\n

Unofficial results are expected to start emerging later in the evening as the counting process progresses across the region.<\/p>\n
