DUBAI: A 38-year-old Indian-origin cricketer, Mohammed Safwan Shanoo<\/a>, who was residing in Dubai, tragically passed away after suddenly collapsing during a cricket match.<\/p>\n

According to reports, Safwan was batting in a routine weekly cricket match on Sunday morning when he unexpectedly fell to the ground and lost consciousness. Fellow players immediately provided first aid and called an ambulance, which rushed him to a nearby hospital. However, doctors later confirmed his death.<\/p>\n

Speaking to local media, his close friend Nabeel said everything appeared normal during the match, and there were no visible signs of illness or discomfort before the incident. \u201cHe suddenly collapsed, and despite all efforts to save him, he could not be revived,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Mohammed Safwan Shanoo had been living in the United Arab Emirates for the past 15 years and was an active member of the local cricket community. He had represented and captained several teams and earned recognition for his outstanding performances in various tournaments.<\/p>\n

Teammates described him as a talented batsman and a kind-hearted individual who was highly respected within the cricket fraternity.<\/p>\n
