{"id":115993,"date":"2026-06-21T14:42:47","date_gmt":"2026-06-21T09:42:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=115993"},"modified":"2026-06-21T14:42:47","modified_gmt":"2026-06-21T09:42:47","slug":"famous-american-actor-paul-avery-and-his-wife-died-in-a-house-fire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/world\/famous-american-actor-paul-avery-and-his-wife-died-in-a-house-fire\/","title":{"rendered":"Famous American actor Paul Avery and his wife died in a house fire"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>WASHINGTON: Famous American actor <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/ppp-sindh-mpa-naeem-ahmed-kharal-passes-away\/\">Paul Avery<\/a>, who played Huey in the American soap opera All My Children, and his wife Sheila Avery died in a fire in their house.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities say that at about 12:38 local time, a fire was reported from a residence in Blairstown, New Jersey, upon which rescue and fire brigade teams immediately arrived at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Rescue workers found the couple unconscious inside the house and immediately pulled them out of the burning building and provided first aid, but they succumbed to their injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities say that the fire was brought under control at 1:03 a.m., and an investigation is underway to find out the causes of the incident.<\/p>\n<p>81-year-old Paul Avery served in the acting field for almost two decades and gained considerable fame on television.<\/p>\n<p>He was not only an actor but also a journalist and co-founder of the Ridgeview Echo in New Jersey. He also served as a member of the Blairstown Township Committee.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to the media, the actor&#8217;s two daughters, Kyle Avery and Parker Sanchez, said that the death of their parents was a huge shock to the family.
