{"id":116515,"date":"2026-06-28T10:32:27","date_gmt":"2026-06-28T05:32:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=116515"},"modified":"2026-06-28T10:32:50","modified_gmt":"2026-06-28T05:32:50","slug":"barrister-gohar-issues-show-cause-notice-to-iqbal-afridi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/barrister-gohar-issues-show-cause-notice-to-iqbal-afridi\/","title":{"rendered":"Barrister Gohar issues show cause notice to Iqbal Afridi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Barrister Barrister Gohar has issued a show cause notice to<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/na-lifts-entry-ban-on-opposition-mna-iqbal-afridi\/\"> Member of National Assembly Iqbal Afridi<\/a>, declaring him guilty of serious violation of party discipline.<\/p>\n<p>The notice, signed by Barrister Barrister Gohar, states that Iqbal Afridi has consistently behaved inappropriately and insultingly towards the party\u2019s members of the National Assembly, several incidents of which were recorded on camera and later broadcast on TV channels and social media.<\/p>\n<p>The notice further alleged that Iqbal Afridi was also involved in planning the attack on party members outside Adiala Jail on June 23, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The party leadership maintains that one of their associates attacked several members of the National Assembly, while Iqbal Afridi himself was directly involved in the incident.<\/p>\n<p>Barrister Gohar said that such actions are not only a violation of party discipline but have also damaged the reputation, unity and solidarity of the PTI at the public level.<\/p>\n<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3ca5c6a elementor-widget elementor-widget-theme-post-title elementor-page-title elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"3ca5c6a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"theme-post-title.default\">\n<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n<h1 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">NA lifts entry ban on Opposition MNA Iqbal Afridi<\/h1>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5aeebb6f e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"5aeebb6f\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4aab5aa3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-post-info\" data-id=\"4aab5aa3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"post-info.default\">\n<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n<p>The National Assembly has lifted the ban on entry of opposition member<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/may-9-case-verdict-pti-leaders-jailed-shah-mehmood-qureshi-acquitted\/\">\u00a0Iqbal Afridi<\/a>\u00a0into the House.<\/p>\n<p>Speaker Ayaz Sadiq moved a motion in the House to lift Iqbal Afridi\u2019s suspension, and the National Assembly approved the motion to lift Iqbal Afridi\u2019s suspension during the entire budget session.<\/p>\n<p>Barrister Gohar had appealed to lift the ban by guaranteeing Iqbal Afridi\u2019s positive behavior.
