It also highlighted a high risk of urban flooding in the cities of Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Mardan, Swat, and Abbottabad.<\/p>\n<p>The PDMA further cautioned that strong winds and windstorms may damage weak structures, mud houses, and rooftop solar panels. District administrations have been instructed to complete preventive measures immediately, while relief teams, heavy machinery and emergency services have been ordered to remain operational around the clock.<\/p>\n<p>A public advisory issued by the authority urged citizens and tourists to avoid unnecessary travel during adverse weather conditions and to stay away from rain-fed rivers, streams, and other vulnerable areas to prevent loss of life and property.<\/p>\n<h2>Rain Likely to Bring Relief from Heat in Punjab<\/h2>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast rain and strong winds in various parts of Punjab from July 1, raising hopes of relief from the ongoing spell of intense heat.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Met Office, weather conditions remained extremely hot and dry across most districts of Punjab, including Lahore, on Monday, with temperatures rising sharply due to strong sunshine and high humidity levels.<\/p>\n<p>Meteorologists said a new weather system is expected to enter the country, with its initial effects likely to be felt in Punjab. Rainfall accompanied by strong winds is forecast in several cities, which may help lower temperatures and improve weather conditions.<\/p>\n<p>In Lahore, the minimum temperature was recorded at 31 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is expected to reach 42 degrees Celsius.
