However, a weather system is expected to bring cloud cover, gusty winds, and rainfall to various regions, resulting in a decrease in temperatures.<\/p>\n<p>The PMD said the weather in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan is likely to remain partly cloudy, with chances of thunderstorms, strong winds, and rain at isolated places.<\/p>\n<p>In Islamabad and adjoining areas, hot and humid conditions are expected to prevail during the day, while strong winds, thunderstorms and rainfall are likely during the afternoon and evening hours.<\/p>\n<p>Meteorologists said intermittent rain may continue in some upper and plain areas over the next few days, which could help reduce the intensity of the prevailing heat wave.<\/p>\n<h3>Rain Expected in KP and Punjab<\/h3>\n<p>According to the forecast, most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will continue to experience hot and humid weather. However, strong winds, thunderstorms, and rain are expected after noon in several districts, including Dir, Swat, Chitral, Kohistan, Shangla, Battagram, Buner, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Kurram, and Orakzai.<\/p>\n<p>In Punjab, heat and humidity are likely to persist in most districts. Nevertheless, evening thunderstorms and gusty winds are forecast for Murree, Galiyat, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, and Narowal.<\/p>\n<h3>Hot Weather to Continue in Sindh and Balochistan<\/h3>\n<p>The Meteorological Department said most districts of Sindh are expected to remain extremely hot and humid, while coastal areas may experience partly cloudy conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, hot weather is likely to continue across much of Balochistan, although Khuzdar and surrounding areas may receive rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms during the evening and night.<\/p>\n<h3>Recent Rainfall and Weather Alert<\/h3>\n<p>The PMD reported that rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms was recorded in parts of upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Balochistan during the last 24 hours. The highest rainfall was recorded in Malam Jabba at 16 millimetres, followed by Parachinar with 14 millimetres.<\/p>\n<p>The department has warned that strong winds, lightning, and thunderstorms may damage weak structures, trees, electricity poles, and signboards.
