{"id":117443,"date":"2026-07-07T15:49:00","date_gmt":"2026-07-07T10:49:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=117443"},"modified":"2026-07-07T15:49:35","modified_gmt":"2026-07-07T10:49:35","slug":"met-office-forecasts-rain-across-country-from-july-8-to-14","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/weather\/met-office-forecasts-rain-across-country-from-july-8-to-14\/","title":{"rendered":"Met Office forecasts rain across country from July 8 to 14"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department (<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/weather\/met-office-forecasts-rain-thunderstorms-and-strong-winds-in-parts-of-pakistan\/\">Met Office<\/a>) has predicted a new series of rains across Pakistan, indicating a possible increase in rainfall intensity in the upper areas from July 8 to 14.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Flood Forecast Division, the water level in the rivers is under control, as there is no major risk of flooding as of now.<\/p>\n<p>As per the Met Office, there is a possibility of thundershowers in different parts of Islamabad, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the next 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Rain and strong winds have also been predicted in different districts of Punjab and Balochistan.<\/p>\n<p>Rains are likely to continue in different parts of the country for the next 48 hours, while a new series of rains is expected in the upper riverine areas from July 8 to 14.<\/p>\n<p>According to the forecast, heavy rains may occur at some places in upper Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan from July 11 to 13.<\/p>\n<p>The Meteorological Department has warned that there is a possibility of an increase in the flow of water in local rivers due to heavy rains, in view of which the relevant agencies have been directed to remain alert.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department (Met Office) has predicted a new series of rains across Pakistan, indicating a possible increase in rainfall intensity in the upper areas from July 8 to 14.
