The All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association (<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/significant-increase-in-cement-consumption-big-good-news-from-the-construction-sector\/\">APCMA<\/a>) reports that cement exports reached 50.5 million tons, a 7.21% rise.<\/p>\n<p>The association reports showed that domestic sales increased by 9.5% as construction activity gained momentum.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, improved construction activities and lower interest rates have supported the recovery of the cement sector.<\/p>\n<p>The recent price increase may raise construction costs for consumers and builders, especially in northern Pakistan, where demand for cement has strengthened.<\/p>\n<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-473dfed elementor-widget elementor-widget-theme-post-content\" data-id=\"473dfed\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"theme-post-content.default\">\n<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n<p>Cement prices continue to be closely monitored by the construction sector, as fluctuations directly affect the overall cost of housing, infrastructure and commercial development projects across the country.<\/p>\n<p>Market experts say future price trends will depend on factors such as energy costs, transportation expenses, raw material prices, and demand within the construction industry.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The cement prices have been increased by Rs. 25-30 per bag in several cities, according to market checks.
