{"id":118423,"date":"2026-07-17T12:24:49","date_gmt":"2026-07-17T07:24:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=118423"},"modified":"2026-07-17T12:24:49","modified_gmt":"2026-07-17T07:24:49","slug":"punjab-cm-launches-free-vegetable-scheme-for-inflation-hit-citizens","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/punjab-cm-launches-free-vegetable-scheme-for-inflation-hit-citizens\/","title":{"rendered":"Punjab CM launches free vegetable scheme for inflation hit citizens"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: The<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/maryam-nawaz-elected-as-first-ever-female-chief-minister-of-punjab\/\"> Chief Minister of Punjab<\/a> has launched a unique project to provide free vegetables to the citizens suffering from inflation.<\/p>\n<p>On the instructions of Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz, a unique project called \u201cNot Cheap Vegetables, Free Vegetables, Sanjhi Sabzi\u201d has been launched for the citizens suffering from inflation.<\/p>\n<p>This project has been launched in Muzaffargarh district, where cultivation of seasonal vegetables has been started for the public on urban government buildings and rural lands.<\/p>\n<p>In total, vegetables are being grown for the public on 140 plots of 139 kanals and the people of the area have also started getting free vegetables as per their needs.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cSanjhi Sabzi\u201d project was launched from a village of the Christian community in Muzaffargarh, after which people started cultivating vegetables for others voluntarily.<\/p>\n<p>Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has described the \u201cSanjhi Sabzi\u201d project as exemplary for the people and has directed all Deputy Commissioners to start the \u201cSanjhi Sabzi\u201d project.<\/p>\n<p>DC Muzaffargarh Muhammad Usman Tahir Jappa met the Chief Minister in which Maryam Nawaz praised the DC\u2019s public welfare initiative and awarded him the Chief Minister\u2019s Merit Badge and a cash prize of Rs. 100,000.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: The Chief Minister of Punjab has launched a unique project to provide free vegetables to the citizens suffering from inflation.
