KARACHI: Gold prices<\/a> in Pakistan witnessed a sharp increase on Tuesday, following a strong rally in the international market, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).<\/p>\n

The price of 24-karat gold per tola surged by Rs4,700 to reach Rs429,236, while the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs4,029, settling at Rs368,000.<\/p>\n

In the global market, gold prices climbed $47 to $4,068 per ounce (including a $20 premium). Meanwhile, silver prices also moved higher, with the price of one tola of silver rising by Rs219 to Rs6,396.<\/p>\n
