He was one of the founders of Pakistan\u2019s strategic and nuclear programs.<\/p>\n<p>According to the spokesperson, Pervaiz Butt served as Chairman of the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission from 2001 to 2006. Under his leadership, Pakistan\u2019s nuclear science and technology program got a new dimension.<\/p>\n<p>The spokesperson of the PAEC said that Pakistan has lost a prominent scientist, engineer and national architect.
