{"id":15915,"date":"2023-05-05T17:40:49","date_gmt":"2023-05-05T12:40:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=15915"},"modified":"2023-05-05T17:41:00","modified_gmt":"2023-05-05T12:41:00","slug":"pia-reduces-islamabad-beijing-airfares-by-nearly-30","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/pia-reduces-islamabad-beijing-airfares-by-nearly-30\/","title":{"rendered":"PIA reduces Islamabad-Beijing airfares by nearly 30%"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PIA reduces Islamabad-Beijing airfares by nearly 30%. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.piac.com.pk\/\">Pakistan International Airlines<\/a> (PIA) has reduced the fare for Islamabad-Beijing flights with immediate effect in a bid to further facilitate passengers travelling between the two countries.<\/p>\n<p>The national flag carrier has announced around 30% reduction in the fare for the Islamabad-Beijing route, which will greatly facilitate passengers who plan to travel to China for study, business, work, or to meet their families, media reported on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>PIA is currently operating a weekly Islamabad-Beijing-Islamabad passenger flight on Sundays.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Read more:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/railways-pia-fares-slashed-by-10pc.html\">Railways &amp; PIA fares slashed by 10pc<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Talking to media, Ali Imran, a Pakistani scholar said that the new reduced fare would greatly facilitate both Pakistani and Chinese travellers.<\/p>\n<p>Pakistan and China are celebrating 2023 as &#8220;The Year of Tourism&#8221; to promote cultural and people-to-people exchanges.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, PIA increased the discount rate on its fares to 27% for students wishing to travel to China.<\/p>\n<p>The national flag carrier also slashed fares of economy and executive economy classes on domestic flights by 20% on Eid ul Fitr.<\/p>\n<p>In a major achievement, the PIA earned around Rs60 million profit in the first quarter (January-March) of the year 2023, Parliamentary Secretary for Railways Kiran Imran Dar informed the National Assembly last month.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PIA reduces Islamabad-Beijing airfares by nearly 30%.
