Angelina Jolie\u2019s letter to Brad Pitt reveals \u2018painful decision\u2019. As the battle wages on between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie<\/a>, a new Vanity Fair expos\u00e9 revealed new details from the lawsuit which has gotten personal and ugly as it progresses.<\/p>\n

Prior to the couple\u2019s purchase of the property, Jolie\u2019s business manager suggested a doomsday clause stipulating that, in the event that the pair ever split, each would have the right to buy the other\u2019s share of Miraval, via Entertainment Tonight.<\/p>\n

In a personal email that Jolie sent to Pitt on January 21st, 2021, she informed of her \u201cpainful decision, with a heavy heart\u201d to sell her stake because it was a \u201cbusiness centred around alcohol.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cEven now impossible to write this without crying,\u201d Jolie wrote. \u201cAbove all, it is the place we brought the twins home to, and where we were married over a plaque in my mother\u2019s memory. A place\u2026where I thought I would grow old\u2026. But it is also the place that marks the beginning of the end of our family.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMiraval for me died September 2016,\u201d she continued, referring to the date of the alleged plane meltdown, \u201cand everything I have seen in the years since has sadly confirmed that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pitt was accused of \u201cchoking one of the children and struck another in the face\u201d during an infamous cross-country private flight in 2016, as well as \u201cpouring beer\u201d on Jolie and their kids.<\/p>\n

At the time, the couple rejected the idea. Now, as the relationship soured in past few years, Jolie ended up selling her shares of the property.<\/p>\n

Pitt, 59, claimed in a new amendment that Jolie, 47, \u201cdeliberately kept him in the dark about the sale of her share of their family wine business to a Russian oligarch\u201d after their breakup,\u201d via People Magazine.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the Fight Club actor alleged that his ex-wife refused to sell him her half of the vineyard shares because was feeling \u201cvindictive\u201d since the custody ruling didn\u2019t go her way.<\/p>\n
