{"id":17351,"date":"2023-06-21T23:02:04","date_gmt":"2023-06-21T18:02:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=17351"},"modified":"2023-06-21T23:02:04","modified_gmt":"2023-06-21T18:02:04","slug":"ppp-suspends-basic-membership-of-aitzaz-ahsan-latif-khosa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/ppp-suspends-basic-membership-of-aitzaz-ahsan-latif-khosa\/","title":{"rendered":"PPP suspends basic membership of Aitzaz Ahsan, Latif Khosa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Wednesday abruptly suspended the basic membership of its senior leaders Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan and Barrister Sardar Latif Khosa reportedly for violating the party&#8217;s discipline.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Talking exclusively to\u00a0<i>Geo News<\/i>, PPP Central Punjab chapter President Rana Farooq Saeed confirmed that the basic membership of the duo has been suspended.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">It was suggested to the party leadership to suspend the basic membership of Khosa and Ahsan. \u201cFinal decision about expelling the leaders from the party is expected during the party\u2019s upcoming CEC meeting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It is pertinent to mention here that Ahsan and Khosa are also the members of PPP&#8217;s CEC.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier today, the PPP inaugurated a \u201cWall of Shame\u201d at the party\u2019s Central Punjab Secretariat and hanged the photos of those who betrayed the party after enjoying coveted positions and privileges.
