{"id":18719,"date":"2023-08-18T21:46:28","date_gmt":"2023-08-18T16:46:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=18719"},"modified":"2023-08-18T21:46:28","modified_gmt":"2023-08-18T16:46:28","slug":"bushra-bibi-demands-b-class-facilities-for-pti-chief","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/bushra-bibi-demands-b-class-facilities-for-pti-chief\/","title":{"rendered":"Bushra Bibi demands B-Class facilities for PTI chief"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: Bushra Bibi, wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, has written a letter to Home Secretary Punjab, demanding \u2018B-Class facilities\u2019 for her husband under \u2018Pakistan Prison Rules\u2019, on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>In the letter written to Home Secretary Punjab, Bushra Bibi noted that B-Class facilities are liable to be given to her husband, the PTI chief, as a matter of right for reasons, which include having served as Prime Minister of Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p>She also pointed out that Imran Khan should be allowed to have home food as per the jail manual. \u201cPersonal physician should also be given access to visit and examine PTI chief,\u201d the letter added.<\/p>\n<p>Bushra Bibi further said that the Islamabad court had directed the police to send her husband to Adiala Jail Rawalpindi, which \u201chas not been complied with\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Read more:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/jit-grills-bushra-bibi-for-20-minutes-in-toshakhana-case.html\">JIT grills Bushra Bibi for 20 minutes in Toshakhana case<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>She urged the home secretary to undertake an \u2018exhaustive legal inquiry\u2019 to elucidate the legality of his current detention within your jurisdiction.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, the District and Sessions Court awarded three years\u2019 jail term to the PTI chairman Imran Khan in Toshakhana criminal case.<\/p>\n<p>The court also imposed Rs 100,000 fine on the convicted chief of the PTI.
